Shane Mart
Shane Mart, DVM, DACVAA grew up in the southwest suburbs outside of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Miami University in Ohio, followed by his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University. He completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Center in Bannockburn, Illinois, and then went on to complete a three-year residency in Anesthesia and Analgesia at the University of California, Davis.
His professional interests include teaching, locoregional anesthesia, cardiothoracic surgery, critical cases, and managing cardiac diseases.
In his free time, he enjoys cooking/baking, lifting weights, boxing, snowboarding, and playing any sport.
